The Life Cycle Assessment<\/mark><\/strong> (LCA) of a product aims to systematically evaluate its environmental impact from cradle to grave\u2014that is, by analyzing all material and energy flows in and out at every stage of its life cycle, from raw material extraction to final waste disposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LCAs have been standardized by ISO norms (14040 to 14043) since 1994.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      This site no longer used its \u201cSac Navette\u201d bags due to the absence of direct delivery routes to branches.
      We connected them with the carrier Sterne, enabling the reuse of these bags in a new logistics chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Disassembly and recycling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Recycling requires the separation of materials<\/mark><\/strong>, which means disassembling the products<\/mark><\/strong> beforehand.
          Depending on the product type, materials are separated<\/mark><\/strong> using a press and cutting dies, or a nibbling machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          For products manufactured up until the end of 2021, we achieve a recycling rate of 60 to 70%, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Plastic plates: Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Foams: PE, EVA, PU<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Metal accessories: sliders, snap fasteners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            For products manufactured from 2022 onward, made from recyclable mono-material PP fabric, we will be able to recycle up to 98%<\/mark><\/strong> of the material once the products reach end of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Metals are sent back to our accessory suppliers for reuse in their own manufacturing processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Plastics are either sent to our suppliers for reintegration into production, or ground and repurposed by a local partner who transforms them into items for homes and public spaces, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
